Applebee's Grill + Bar

This Applebee's located in Sugar Hill, Georgia offers delicious food served by a remarkably attentive and upbeat staff. It's become my pre rehearsal home away from home during my involvement as a cast member in a play produced by the Players Guild at the nearby Eagle Theater. I've enjoyed entrees, appetizers, salads and soups. I appreciate the calorie counts displayed on the menu. The only reason I haven't order a desert is I'm trying to slim down a bit. I can charge my phone, study my lines for the play and enjoy a wonderful meal all at one sitting.

I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries for lunch and it was delicious! The thick cuts of hamburger, onion, and tomato, along with the other ingredients made for a tall cheeseburger! It was almost too big for my mouth!

The fries were crisp and tasted great by themselves without ketchup.

The staff was friendly and attentive.

Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Food was served hot and quick. The restaurant wasn't too crowded either.

Our server was excellent but it took about 20+ minutes to get our food. I ordered the Wan Tang tacos and they were very tasty. Also I had the chicken quesadillas and they were good but a couple of slices were a little salty. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner.

Our waitress was great, but the table behind us was filled with two couples. They weren't happy with anything. The manager came out and offered to comp the meal or to cook the two ladies another meal. Neither of the gentlemen were complaining. Its Mothers Day, so it was crowded. The ladies decided that they would have him cook the whole meal over again, and serve it in a to go box because they just wanted to leave (in my opinion with food for later because they had consumed most of what they were complaining about) it just put a slight damper on the mood for Mothers day. Kudos to all who worked that day as they were very efficient. I had to wait 15 minutes to sit, my server came to our table within 2-3 minutes, and drinks were out within 5 minutes. As I've said it was a busy Mothers day crowd, but wwith the exception of a few they did a good job.
