Central City Tavern

I visited the other night after hearing mixed reviews from friends. My first impression is that I really like the vibe. Before I get into the food portion of this review, I hope someone from this establishment reads these so they can address the lack of airflow/ac because it was miserably hot and made for an uncomfortable experience. The ladies in my group were disappointed with the only healthy choice being a salad. I enjoyed my burger but there should be a grilled chicken sandwich option as every other bar/restaurant has. I feel that overall it’s a nice spot but their menu needs help.

This was a great meal. App was good, salad was great, and burger and wings were awesome. Great place to go and watch the game. Good area to hang out. Must try if you have not gone yet.

I’ve been here a number of times and it is always welcoming. The staff is very very friendly and service is always good. I love the fact that they serve tater tots! And they have fresh fries...which are always better than the ones from a freezer. The smoked wings are great and the burgers are excellent. We almost always order the shrimp and chorizo dip.

Great addition to Sugar Hill. This place will be the anchor for the new E-Center. I had the pork belly tacos and they were phenomenal. The service is great and we had a 14 person group. Everyone enjoyed their meal and were pleased with their dining experience. This is now my spot for nights out and date night. I highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area.

My wife and I ate there the other night. My wife had the grouper tacos and she thought they were great. I had the old fashioned burger and it had a great combination of meat and cheese and other flavors. I'm not a person who uses ketchup or other toppings and enjoyed the burger very much just as it was made! Started with the fried green tomatoes, a generous portion for two and we really enjoyed the horseradish sauce. In addition to great food we had outdoor seating for a wonderful time, topped off with excellent service from Michael B.
