I visited this place for lunch today as I'm always looking for a decent lunch in the area thats relatively quick, but not garbage food. I had the Banh Mi with Brunswick stew and sandwich was awesome - the flavors brought together with the ingredients makes this sandwich one of a kind to me. The Brunswick stew was quite simply the best I have ever had i do believe. I'm happy to find this place and I definitely will be back.
Me and the lads have been trying to make it here for quite a while. Finally did and I'm not sure why we waited so long. I had the Hopenero sandwich which was excellent. The chicken was fried nice and crispy but not dry. Habenero sauce had good balance of heat and flavor. The sweet potato fries were thinner and crispier than most, which is a nice change, and well seasoned. I'll definitely be back.
Super friendly staff with food that will suprise you for the location they are in. Homemade bread can't be beat! My personal favorite is the Brunswick Stew
Hop’s is a treasure. The chips are the perfect balance of crunchy salty goodness. The Cuban is dense and makes 2 meals in one! I’ve tried sandwiches, gumbo, sides and specials here and keep finding myself going back for more and more. Try this spot out, you won’t regret it!
My husband got the Cuban sandwich and fries. He has been looking for a good Cuban since we did a travel assignment in Fort Lauderdale and he said, “I finally found it”! I got the pastrami sandwich and side of greens. This pregnant lady was so happy. The sandwich meat was so moist, but crunchy with the slaw and pickle topping. The greens were wonderful! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great hole in the wall.
