I used the drive-tru. They forgot to give me a straw. But the food was good

The last time i was here i had to pull up to lane one and wait. Well after 10 minutes I went in and they had given my food away. They remade it fresh and threw in some extra stuff but good grief!

A few weeks back I was having a tough day... I went through the drive through and my order wasn't right. I over reacted and went inside and I acted rudely towards the assistant manager out of frustration... We all know that at lunch hours things can get busy and when you're running two drive through windows things can get mismatched and that's all that happened. I didn't give her the chance to explain.. Today I had the opportunity to apologize when I got breakfast and she accepted it with sincere gratitude. They work just as hard if not harder than any of us do at their job but aren't able to expect the same respect. I was guilty of this- I treated her like a factor in my day rather than another human being doing the best she can. She forgave me without hesitation over the counter today and that to me is a five star manager. Professional, kind hearted and understanding of human error. I may only spend five minutes a week or less at this restaurant- its fast food- but for those five minutes I will be appreciative that these people are there all day so that someone like me can have a quick meal and so they can bring food home to their family. We're all in this together. Apologies and forgiveness make our community better!
