Smoke House BBQ and Catering

It has been my favorite bbq place since college. The sauce is always fantastic. The customer service is great. I still remember my college professor, who used to work here, raved about this place. I does not disappoint.

First time to visit and I actually had a 'to go's order which prevented me from looking at their full menu. But, I'm happy to report that my pulled pork sandwiches were great and the price was more than fair. Sauce was a vinegar base with a trace of tomato and hot pepper and complimented the pork. The sweet tea was a little too sweet but was fine when I added some 'unsweet' to it.

One of my favorite Bar-B-Q spots. Great food! The portions are generous. They're sauces are good and their service is awesome. Your entire family will enjoy this place.

I seek out BBQ places wherever I travel in the south, and after weeks of driving by this place I finally decided to stop in. I'm very glad I did.

Ordered the rib plate with fries and Mac and cheese, my standard order at a new place. Service was pretty standard, order at the counter and it gets delivered to your table when ready. Order in to table took right around 10 minutes.

Ribs were great, glazed but no sauce on them. Deeply smoked with good flavors. They didn't really need a sauce for the flavor, but their sauces were also good enough to add a little to add moisture and a bit of flavor. Sides were very good, with the Mac and cheese being the better of the two. Free pickles and garlic toast are always a welcome addition.

Their sauce game was fairly strong. They have an Original flavor, which is more of a vinegar-style sauce, tangy, sweet and with a bit of heat for bite. Really good. They also have two tomato-based sauces, sweet heat and sweet. Regular sweet was way to sweet for me, but the sweet heat was also excellent.

Next time I'll be sure to try the pulled pork, I think it would go great with the sauces they have there.

We were in town on personal business and it was completed around lunchtime. The gentleman we had met with asked if we liked good BBQ and home cooking, of course we said yes. He said if you are not in a rush to get home and want some good BBQ or home cooked food for lunch... there's a great place just down the road. We decided to give it a try and SO glad we did. Anytime we are in the area I know where we'll be eating lunch or dinner. The food was really good and prices were reasonable. The BBQ was so good and we loved the homemade banana pudding... like mama and granny used to make... yum!
