Monterrey

A lot of choices here. The menu was a book. Can’t believe this used to be the old Pizza Hut. From what I tasted everything was good but pricey. I think the cheapest thing was around 13 dollars. The meat was cooked well and seasoned. Server was at tentative and kept giving us chips and salsa. She did disappear for a while when it got busy but it was still a good experience. The only critique was the bathroom. The urinal is right next to the door which creates a tiny space to use.

The food was amazing. The staff always makes us feel like family. We are so glad to have Juan and his family in Bremen!

This place is different from the other Mexican restaurants I’ve been too. Menu is different and unique. The drinks are to die for. I tried the La Barbie which consisted of dragon fruit and tequila… whew! 😅 I ordered fajitas nachos. It was delicious 🤤 10/10 definitely will be back. I wanted to go back to the kitchen and slap the cook, it was so good 🤣

I couldn’t say enough how good the food is. It’s not your traditional “Mexican” restaurant (thank god don’t we have enough of those)
We’ve been twice and we are always excited to come back. The food is amazing every time, very creative menu, and great drinks. I tried the margarita flight even though I’m not normally a fan of margaritas and loved every single one. Destiny was our server the second time, I wish I remembered who our server was the first time. Both have amazing service and were super sweet. Lexi was the bartender and got my flight out super fast! They have put so much work and love into this old building to bring Bremen something new. The first week of ANY restaurant opening is hard, when’s the last time you tried something brand new and did amazing the first week you tried it?
Don’t let a few negative nancies convince you otherwise. It’s a great place for foodies like me!

Monterrey Mexican Restaurant in Bremen is an absolute gem! We ordered the Dip Trip with elotes, guacamole, and cheese dip—each one was incredible, especially the elotes dip, which was top tier. My boyfriend's mangonata margarita was delicious, and my veggie rice with queso was super filling and flavorful. While the service was not very fast, the amazing food more than made up for it. Having enjoyed Monterrey's quality food at their Douglasville locations, I'm thrilled to have them in our hometown now. They have never let us down, and I am confident this will be the new hot spot in town!
