“This is the first time I've ever ate here and they have some extremely good food. Everything is made from scratch and cooked to order so it comes out as hot and fresh as possible. Because of this the wait for food is a little longer then normal (15min or so) but well worth it. The waitress was friendly and explained the menu to us and even brought out a little bit of bbq and sauce to try which tasted great. I'm not from the area but I will definitely be back in the future. This place is good enough to plan a trip to go out and eat at.”

“They have great pasta dishes here! And the two slices of pizza + salad + drink for $6 is great for an affordable lunch. Nice employees.”

“This is my preferred Sunday lunch spot when I am in town. The Sunday lunch buffet is worth your time! They have fresh guacamole and melted queso/white cheese fresh on the buffet! The food is great, and the Sunday buffet comes with a drink. The server we seem to get most of the time we go there is a very nice gentleman. He makes it a point to try to get you to smile and checks on you very frequently for what you need or to ask you how everything is going. I found that I rarely need to ask for much because he seems to jump on it before the need is expressed. (Napkins, drink refills, finished plates, etc) This place is worth a visit if you enjoy Mexican cuisine. Quick tip: It can get pretty busy on Sundays. Try to beat the rush and get there around 11AM to 1130AM, and not in the heat of lunch rush if you want the best experience for the Sunday buffet. If church let's out too late for that, don't worry, they still are worth the visit while busy!”

“Very good food, the family of five meal was amazing, the waitress we had was very nice and just made the whole experience better. The only things that weren't amazing were the sweet tea and fried rice. If you order the fried rice know that it's only rice that was fried, there's nothing else in it. Also the sweet tea was so sweet it reminded me of syrup. With saying that, everything else was amazing, especially the Mongolian beef.”

“The perfect small town greasy spoon. Offerings included an adequate salad bar. Staff was friendly, happen to arrive after a rush and die to the wait on our order, we were offered a complimentary salad bar. Overall it was a great experience.”

“Phat Phil's is AMAZING! We've eaten at Phat Phil's 5 or 6 times and everything we've had is delicious. Yesterday, my wife had the catfish, and I had the brisket. Both awesome. All the sides have been wonderful. My wife and I both had the squash casserole - incredible. I always get the fried green tomatoes and mac n cheese because it's so good. I love that Phil takes the time to come visit his customers and ask "How's everything?". Phil is an EXCELLENT CHEF. I highly recommend this place!”
