Lakeside Pit Viper BBQ

Had the brisket sandwich and Cajun coleslaw and it was fantastic. Meat was not greasy and it was cooked to perfection. About 7 sauces to choose from. Coke was served in a great plastic keeper cup with a keeper lid and large volume straw! Homemade black cherry ice cream for dessert. Perfect place to have a meal on the lake with a drive up dock.

Cute place and glad to have another place to go to that’s accessible by boat! The sauces were really good, even better when we mixed them. Great pulled pork! The meal would’ve been the best meal I’ve had in a while but I didn’t touch the Mac n cheese after the first bite. I know it’s “Smokey Mac n Cheese” but not everyone likes that “smoked” flavor and I can tell the Mac n cheese would’ve been FIRE if it wasn’t Smokey flavored! Please oh please make a regular Mac n cheese!!! I’ll come back on and change my review to five stars if you add that to the menu 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Very impressed! What a cool place on the lake for lunch or dinner. The food was fantastic. Lots of sauce options for every taste, but the ribs and pork are good w/o the sauce as well. The sides are a refreshing difference from the usuals. The baked beans were my favorite. Shaded tables with a lake view. Can't wait to go back.

Delicious, fall-off-the-bone pork ribs and perfectly tender pulled pork. The smoked mac and cheese is a winner, and the baked beans are slightly sweet and very unctuous.

All the sauces are good. We especially liked the viper brown, viper white, and viper yellow. Sadly they were out of the sweet chipotle sauce (which is not on their online menu). But the meats are great without any sauce at all, which is the mark of truly good BBQ.

Great location right on the lake (you can park your boat at the dock and walk up the stairs) with a nice new triple deck and covered picnic tables.

Only issue is the rock driveway can be too narrow for simultaneous entry and exit. But considering they just opened and the food quality is superb (along with the friendly service), don't let that stop you from enjoying this place.

BEST BBQ my husband and I have ever ate! I’ve never eaten bbq that I didn’t have to add sauce, well here it is! We ate a bbq plate with beans and homemade mac n cheese, all delicious. Very impressed and we will be back!!
