GABINOS MEXICAN GRILL

It was my first time eating here and the food was delicious. The drinks were awesome as well! I wish I could remember our servers name because she was great. Will definitely be back.

UPDATE!! We have basically been coming here every Sunday (9/1/19) and we became acquaintances with some of the staff. The ones that we usually have are awesome. So we went last night we had a different server, and he was good, a little cold, but did his job. He was an older guy and I won't say his name. But we ordered two pitchers of margaritas as we always do. We ordered the Texas margaritas. Like I said we do this every week. But last night I'm not sure if they did not give us top shelf liquor as it should have been. Three people in my party got sick. Throwing up and severe stomach pain. There was 10 of us, so we didn't drink a lot. I don't throw up when I drink. So something was wrong with either the food, or the alcohol. So be careful when ordering alcohol. I wish I could have made sure that the bartender used top-shelf alcohol as she should have. But the way we got sick, it was like it was cheap alcohol. I left a whole mess at the bar. The old bartender, Aaliyah, was phenomenal. We are a group of over 40 and this is definitely not our first rodeo of trying to drink. We definitely can handle our liquor. So needless to say, it was very embarrassing to be throwing up like we are teenagers. And I literally had one glass of Margarita. We had the Frozen strawberry mango blend margaritas.

I took a young colleague to Gabinos for her birthday. It was my first time at this particular Mexican restaurant and I was not disappointed! The service was amazing and good humored. The salsa was not your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant boring, but thicker, darker, and actually flavorful. The entrees were eye-popping, generous portions. The ambience was a cool respite from the horrific Georgia misery known as August that was going on outside. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

This was the second time we have been here. The food was excellent, and service was very good. My wife cannot eat certain things, and this establishment makes it easy for her to enjoy.

Food was bland for Mexican, had doctor it at the table. Service was fair, they forgot to bring chips n salsa. I ordered guacamole dip it didn't come until the meal arrived. The only thing saving it from 2 stars was the salsa once it arrived was the best on the table. My cousin said it was better then a poke in the eye. Also the bathroom was clean.
