The service was very quick and friendly. The seafood platter was the biggest I think I have ever seen. After we finished eating there was still enough left to fill two takeout boxes. It included clam strips, scallops, shrimp, crab cake, and a large piece of fish. It vould have easily fed three people. Spence was the waiter and he did a good job of staying on top of everything. The only downside to me was the lights were too bright and they have a cascading chandelier light that was kind of distracting. This was not a really big deal but when I go back I'll just be sure to sit with my back to it.
Great place. Not crowded so we were able to get a table quick. Food was great and I would definitely recommend coming here.
Pleasant surroundings. Feels like a seafood eatery on the coast. Fried flounder, crab cakes, okra and hush puppies were indeed delicious, if slightly less than 5 star, due to the light seasoning. However, the service was stellar, earning this restaurant another star, in my book.
The table they seated me at was sticky so before I addressed the menu I asked for the table to be cleaned. It took the girl cleaning it twice before she was happy with it.
The portions were good. I got two pieces of fish and I think it was eight shrimp, fries, slaw and hush puppies. I doubt the food is cooked to order because it came out too quickly but it was hot so it must have been fairly fresh. Everything was pretty good except the french fries. Would I go back again? Probably not I'll check out other places first.
