Goth the All-star platter. 2 beast pieces of baked chicken, 1 fried pork chop, double mashed potatoes w/o gravy, roll, Coke zero sugar, and peach cobbler.
Was going for bland post-procedure meal. To my surprise, baked chicken, although a tad dry, had a bit of seasoning.
Mashed potatoes had some peelings in them, but we're otherwise very smooth and tasty.
Pork chop was boneless and battered. Very good, but also a little dry. Not moist like Sunday's fried chicken. I made it into a sandwich using the store-bought roll.
Breads seem to be lacking here unless you like corn cake rather than cornbread.
Peach cobbler as usual was the highlight of the day.
The food is phenomenal! Literally everything I have ever got from here is fantastic. The staff is great, prices are very reasonable and they have a drive thru! I love this place.
Excellent service and food! Real deal home cooking style southern food. Would've been 5 stars but we were missing one of our catfish orders.
The prices are reasonable. The people are nice. The food is what I consider southern cooking. **It’s not soul food.** With a little seasoning and hot sauce for taste, it was edible. The peach cobbler was more like bread pudding with peaches, but the chicken is quite tasty.
This was my second time visiting this establishment. Both times were great. The food is hot, tasty an appealing to the eye. Prices are about right and the portions are adequate. I recommend thos place to anyone wanting good old fashion soul food served hot and timely by courteous folks.
