Moez Tropical Cuisine

I Love this place! I ordered a large oxtail, large jerk chicken, and side of brown stew chicken and I was more than pleased with the taste! I also had the pleasure of being served by the owner Moez, and he was extremely kind. The food was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be visiting Moez Tropical Cuisine again.

The food was great! The wait time was a bit much (30 min by the time I had my order taken with 3 people in front when I arrived - hence minus 1 star) and by that time around 5pm most of the food was gone and he had to lock the door. It's a new restaurant and I understand how it's difficult to figure out the supply-demand and staffing for the business to stay open. I'm sure it will balance out over time. The manager was by himself working very hard and was very nice, maintaining his happy, calm demeanor despite sweaty face and head from moving as fast as he can. The coco bread was super delicious my kids devoured them and asked for more! The curry chicken was super tasty!! The guy in front of me took my last 2 beef patties which I was looking forward to trying (it would've taken another 20 min for it to be ready otherwise)! (It's fair game I suppose... but to me, he took MY patties!) Mac and cheese was good as far as taste although it was end-of-the-day-last-bit-of-the-batch texture and was a bit pricey compared to the market around here on a M&C but when you have kids and not sure what they might eat out of the menu they're not used to eating, you go on the safe side and get it. I'll definitely be back to try more food on the menu - will have to beat others to the punch it seems like

Okay so listen! I know our running Caribbean joke is “bad customer service=great food” lol BUT the customer service was amazing the food was too! I ordered the curry shrimp meal and also had a veggie patty and cocoa bread. The cocoa bread was like biting into a delicious cloud it was so soft! I was tearing this food UP on a zoom meeting and all lol you have to stop in and grab a bite! Also I had a natural pineapple and ginger juice. It was even needed! Definitely will be back!!!

I had my boyfriend order me some lunch and he did not get what I asked for but I was also overcharged $2 for my food and it was $14 on my receipt instead of $12. Because I was at work all day and brought tue food back UNTOUCHED hours later the man in the store is telling me they wont refund me because it's been too long since I ordered my food as if that makes a difference. I had to sit and wait for the person who served me to return to the restaurant to settle the matter. He was not bery happy about it but he remade my plate and refunded me the overage I was charged.
