Pond - Fresh American Grille

We really wanted to give The Pond 5 stars, but just couldn't do it due to the price. The service was really good and the food was very tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. The building was very nice and the outdoor seating is outstanding. The reason we couldn't give them 5 stars was that considering everything it is still pretty expensive for the fare. A couple burgers, one soda and a side order of onion rings was right at $36.00 before tip. And while the food was very good, it wasn't $36.00 worth of food. With that said, I am sure we'll will eat there again, but it is too expensive to be a regular part of our dining out rotation.

Good comfort food! Higher in price, but worth it. Ordered the beef meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. I suggest adding a little lemon juice to the green beans but otherwise very tasty. Its very refreshing having a quality restaurant that isn't a chain in the area. My only complaint, they put up a wall at the end of the parking lot which really takes away from the gorgeous view that is the lake behind the restaurant.

Newly renovated, and in my opinion, a location that has always been a gem in the Warner Robins, GA area, the Pond has a great view of the lake and the interior is very inviting. A varied menu that includes sandwiches and burgers and large portion entrees. Had the chicken sandwich that was blackened and very tasty. Home-style kettle chips were very good and washed down with sweet tea. A great place for locals to hang out and enjoy good food. Should be great for the Air Force base folks since it's close by.

Excellent job by the owners of this restaurant! They really hit it our of the park all around. From the beautiful decor to the easy yet tasty menu, the pond is the place to be! The outside dining was surrounded by awesome landscaping and waterfront view! I will be back so much more just to sit inside or out!
