FRIENDS JEFFERSON GRILL

We've loved the Friends restaurant ever since we first went to the one in Winder. We were so glad when they came to Jefferson and were a lot closer. They make pretty decent food here in a laid-back relaxing atmosphere. They offer Angus beef and Bison for burgers Etc. They have a wide variety of foods on their menu. Their french fries are super good. They also have a full bar and a little game room in the front to play games while you wait for your table. The first time we went to the one in Jefferson the staff were all very friendly! Oh, they were pretty crowded being it was a Friday night and they are new to Jefferson. Also there is not a lot of restaurants in Jefferson to choose from so they can be quite crowded for that reason as well. It was a little tight in the restaurant and much smaller than the one in Winder. There is parking on the side as well as in the back of the restaurant. Also they are opening up another gravel parking lot just down past the restaurant. The manager was really cool and the staff including our server were very helpful and polite. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean as well.

The service was good, the food was decent but the prices were absurd. I had a french dip sandwich that was $11.99 I believe, it was good but not great. The sandwich comes with some kind of pasta salad, it's $1.50 more if you want fries. The waitress automatically asks if you want fries and just charges the difference. Lunch for two was $28 without drinks, just water. With tax and tip $16.50 each for a sandwich and fries.

Food was amazing!!!

Had a great 1st experience here! It was crowded but we didn't have a wait. Service was very good, I was impressed.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that kids eat free Sunday 5-10pm and they have $5 house margaritas.
Really glad that we now have an affordable good quality sit down restaurant in Jefferson!
