The Redd House Restaurant

The food was good, but the service and overflow room could have some work done to improve. Tonight we were seated in an overflow room because the other room was pretty much full. The room that our table was at was barely lit and we couldn't see our food very well. There was no light other than the dim light in the middle of the room and on the opposite side of the room. It took a long time before the waiter came to get our refills, or bring out the bill. It was my mothers birthday dinner too. That overflow room that we sat at definitely needs some more lighting.

How do you begin to describe this place? It is literally in the middle of nowhere, but the food is so great that the parking lot is always full. I have experienced the seafood night on Fridays, and also visited on a Thursday night when southern comfort food is featured.Highlights for me where the fried chicken, the wonderfully battered fried fish, and the fried green tomatoes. I guess the key word here is fried. Amazing place.

Absolutely loved it! Always good food and service. Go early, but its worth the wait. Folks drive from several counties away to enjoy this down home buffet and seafood. Family atmosphere-no alcohol.

Some of the best food especially for the price you pay. But get there at least 30 minutes before they open cause a long line forms fast. If your not early wait about an hour and half so you ain't standing in line as long.
