“Fun times! Tavern 53 is a great spot for live music and good food. Our server was great (forgot her name, sorry) and suggested the nachos and we also had the egg rolls. Mainly, we came to see The Real Cool Band and it was worth the drive from Atlanta. We appreciated the floor design of bar, stage and nice sized outdoor patio with booths, tables, etc. Clean restrooms and lots of parking. Great night! Thanks to all at Tavern 53.”

The ambience is wonderful and the outdoor seating is tailored to warm summer evenings. The food, drinks, wait staff, and owners are all spectacular! Turns out hard sometimes so I ask for lightly toasted and they do that with no problem. There could be a little more protein in the sandwiches but at 5.99 each, it's too little to complain. I recommend the pulled pork on the potato casserole, topped with baked beans. It is a sweet sauce, but it is good. The bread pudding is a local favorite, but a tad too greasy for me. Again, ask for a sample! Worth the drive! Worth the hassle of the parking lot too!”
