I love the service and the food. The waitresses especially kristi hallas They are super nice and very very hard workers. They are not the type that would come and check on you every 10 seconds and make you annoyed. They were they are the ones that come every about 5-7 minutes and check on you they are not annoying and very very good at their jobs. Back to the food, I got the chicken tenders with mashed potatoes with brown gravy and potato salad I also got a biscuit. The food was amazing including the biscuit I did ask for honey and the honey was very good and it had a different taste than normal honey. I recommend this place more than I recommend any other restaurant in Monticello. This is one of the best places I’ve been to in a very long time. Thank you Martha Jane seven cooking for being such good and hard workers.I forgot to mention they have a very good price of their food and they have amazing cooks. Thank you all Martha Jane southern cooking employees.
My sister and I ate breakfast there waiting for the courthouse to open. I had eaten the chicken biscuit with gravy added. The biscuit itself was one of the best biscuits I have eaten in that area and the chicken I wish would have been hand-battered Fried Chicken in the only other suggestion I have is to offer a different type of gravy other than sausage gravy for the people that want gravy over there fried foods in the morning but all in all the food was awesome the service was great and I would be coming back
Best place in the vicinity of the downtown square if you crave a meat and veggies kind of lunch. Plain cooking, can't give more than 3 stars for that, but a pleasant and clean stop. I was glad to find it on my drive through this part of rural Georgia.
We had a wonderful lunch here. I personally would LOVE to have a copy of their recipe for potato salad; it was the best tasting potato salad I've ever had! Later, when I asked my luncheon mates, they suggested sweet pickle relish might be the secret ingredient. All four of us travelers enjoyed our menu items. We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. We will surely return!
