Chevy's Pizza

Stopped at Chevys for lunch one weekday. Service was good, not too crowded. Pizza was ok and sandwich was ok. Nicely decorated place. Will stop by again if in the area. Keep up the good work.

I used to eat at Chevy’s when it was on Highway 49 back in the late 90’s. So when we were in Jones County during the Christmas holidays, my daughter and I decided to pull in for lunch. We were not disappointed. I had the house salad and she had the Philly steak and cheese.
The atmosphere is nice, the restrooms are clean, and the people are friendly. Since then we have returned 4 times to eat lunch. Each time we are completely satisfied. It’s the best place in Gray for sure, and is now our “go to”place when we are out and about. I really like the owner Chevy.

Great local eatery. Nothing too fancy, very laid back, and awesome food. We've tried almost everything on the menu and haven't had anything we don't like. The portions are always enough for at least two, if not three meals, including the salads. Dining area could use some updating (torn booth seats, uncomfortable chairs) but definitely worth trying. We drive 30 minutes one way to eat there and we go every few weeks, plus my father actually likes it and he doesn't ever fully like any restaurant. Lots of vegetarian options so it's a good restaurant for all and they can handle groups.

It doesn't state pet friendly anywhere that I've seen, but they are!

Stopped in for a quick bite while passing through on my way back home. It was after the lunch rush and the dining room was almost empty except for a guy at the counter. The server was polite and friendly. She did however ask me what I didn’t want on my salad and then brought it to me anyway.
I ordered their special that was a 8” one topping pie, side salad, and a drink. Excellent price point at $6.99.
The pizza was nice to look at however it was quite a different story for taste and construction. The crust was great however there was not enough balance of sauce so it felt dry. Compounding the issue was the severe over cheesing. It left each bite thick and rubbery. There was nice topping distribution and quantity although the food cost is probably higher than it should be.
Maybe I just came at that in between time from when the lunch crew tapers off and before the dinner crew gets there. Either way I will probably try it again because even bad pizza is better than 90% of the restaurants Gray has to offer.
