It was all great! Had a Jumbo pulled pork sandwich plate with two sides. I chose a loaded sweet potato, Brunswick stew and added a side of homemade mac n cheese. I ate ALL of it! Sauces were great, too! I reccomend them! Midway's better than the one at I 95 and 17 in Richmond Hill...

The BBQ and the sides were delicious! Most of the meats and the sides are gluten free. And I dont know how they keep the chicken so moist and so good!

The last 2 times I ate here my chicken was dry. Mind you it was dark meat. I believe in second chances. I told myself maybe it was overlooked. Or, maybe someone had a off day. The next visit low and behold the same story different visit. I'm a local, been here 25 plus yrs. Both of those times it was a takeout order. I live in Sunbury. Never had this issue the times I ate at Richmond Hill restaurant. However, I will praise the staff. Very professional and upbeat. They also had a lunch catered for 50 plus people last month. The company I had it catered for said the food was fresh. And they were punctual.

Stopped by on the way north as we were craving some good bbq. Although not the restaurant we were expecting (another Smokin Pig), were pleasantly surprised. Had the pulled pork plate with a big serving of lean delicious pulled pork, yummy old-fashioned macaroni and cheese and green beans fresh from the garden. No fried food here though so fries aren't available. Would definitely eat here again.

Had a wonderful lunch there. Everything was priced well and tasted great. While we were there, unbeknownst to the owner, I overheard him pay for two uniformed officers who were up at the register to buy thier lunches. I love seeing owners that take upon themselves to show support for our first responders. The owner was personable and super friendly. Respect!
