Sabor Mi Veracruz

The food here was AWESOME! Way better than any other Mexican restaurant that I’ve tasted in the city… it was fresh and the portion size was great. I LOVE that the chips were SUPER fresh and you could tell were homemade, not store bought. Living in Cali, I got to taste tons of authentic Mexican food and it was very reminiscent of that😊 I only wish that they would get some more help. Idk if it was only because of the time that I visited, but there was only ONE lady taking orders, bartending AND serving. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was going to the back to cook the food as well! She had a lot going on, but she was definitely nice! My reason for not giving 5 stars, though, is because the drinks were not ON POINT. The flavors were good, but the amount of alcohol was almost nonexistent. When I leave a Mexican Restaurant after drinking margaritas, I expect to FEEL LIKE I’ve been drinking margaritas 🥴 I still felt the same… 😒 But other than that, it was A-1! I would definitely recommend. For Valdosta, this is a GOLD MINE!

I had an amazing first experience at this Mexican restaurant! The highlight of the meal was definitely the homemade tortillas - they were so fresh and delicious. Our waiter, Jonathan, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. The chef even came out to ask us how we enjoyed the food he made by special request. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and the delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. 5 stars!

Didnt know this place was here. Stopped in and wham!!!!! This place is good food with large portions. We could not finish our food. Our wonderful server Jonatan, was so accommodating. This place should be packed everyday. We will definitely be back here. They have horchata too. My favorite!!!!!!!

This place is the new kid on the block! Glad they are here. Authentic Mexican food made, owned, and run by Mexican people. The food was made fresh, not thrown in the microwave. I was able to eliminate items from my dish, which is always an indicator of made to order food.

They gave me handmade tortillas and freshly fried tortilla chips. Delicioso!
