Chicken Tikka Masala is best I've ever had and I've been to different Indian restaurants in NC, VA, and GA. They were all very good. But the gravy (sauce) was just out of this world. Prices very good, too. A little lower than a normal Indian restaurant. Owner and his wife don't have any help: no waiters or waitresses. So service is not real good. But that's fine. Food is super. Would go here once every 2-3 months if I lived within 90 minutes of Valdosta. Incredible Indian food.
Service is excellent even when they are busy. Will surely make a return trip.
When you show up it may look closed or empty but just take a seat wherever you'd like and the owner/chef/waiter will be out to help you in a few minutes. I don't think I have ever seen a restaurant that is a one man show before but he manages to get it done. Whether you know what you want or need help deciding, the food will be delicious! Highly recommend this place for authentic Indian food.
Had dinner at Tandoor in Valdosta, in early November 2018, and thought it was exceptional. We like to visit Indian restaurants in several cosmopolitan, sophisticated cities, and never expected to find an Indian culinary gem in the middle of fast food land just off a busy interstate in southern Georgia, hundreds of miles from Atlanta. Rich flavors, artfully spiced, not just the usual American Indian restaurant fare. The owner/manager was welcoming, gracious, entertaining. As other visitors have said, the exterior is really off-putting -- dilapidated and gloomy. But the food and service are wonderful.
