Riverside Tavern at Turners Corner

When we first saw this place two years ago, there wasn't much to it. We watched it each time we passed by and it looked as if nothing was changing or looking to change. Then we drove by in June to see a massive crowd. Cars everywhere, people everywhere. We wanted to stop, but it was just way too many people. We kept it in mind and visited early on a weeknight. We were impressed! The food was amazing and everyone was very kind. The fries were the best part of our visit! The outside seating looked nice as well, but it was pretty warm, so we sat inside. It filled up shortly after we got there. I can now see why the crowd gets raging. A wonderful place to stop.

A great little place tucked away in the mountains. Friendly staff and yummy food. Don't miss the funnel cake fries!

Rebecca and I both had the Trout platter with peach Cole slaw and Brunswick stew. Outstanding! Service was wonderful as well. Highly recommend. Best stew I've ever had and I'm from NC.

My wife Jennifer and I were fortunate enough to be at Riverside Tavern's June 2019 grand opening!

The Riverside Tavern restaurant is located in one of North Georgia's most beautiful locations and borders on the Chestatee River.

The restaurant style is casual and the interior is amazing! They also have a screened in outdoor seating area adjacent to the upstairs tavern where some nights they have live entertainment! the night we were there they had an amazing guitarist and beautiful singer. there's room for dancing if you like! The atmosphere is exciting and the people in the area that routinely enjoy the restaurant are very friendly. They also have seating located downstairs just feet from the river which is an absolutely amazing place to be and to eat or indulge in some adult beverages and watch a large screen TV!

this place is so amazing that my wife and I returned the next morning for their breakfast and honestly, we could have stayed and enjoy this place all day!

My family and I enjoy renting cabins in North Georgia and I cannot tell you how much we look forward to staying in the area to be able to go to the restaurant. oh, and by the way the food is absolutely amazing! The cost for the wide variety of items on the menu is more than reasonable! your choices on the menu are typical American and excellent BBQ! I recommend the baby back ribs for the pulled pork! the pork is one of my favorite items to purchase at barbecue restaurants and here I had the best I've ever had!

Make no mistake, you are certain to have great food in a great atmosphere with excellent service and the owners are kind and friendly good people!
