Your Pie

My three stars are completely the customer service and not the food. We were greeted and thanked on our way out by four women who are just standing at the front door. They had at least five people in the food-ordering area behind the counter. It was pretty slow so mostly everyone minus four main employees were just standing there. Kind of odd. Someone checked on us twice and took our empty trays. The location is very clean and decorated for Christmas, which was nice.

If you have ever experienced Mod Pizza in Dawsonville, you will not be impressed with this place. We asked for fresh mozzarella for our cheese choice, which he picked up literally swimming in water. I know nothing about cheese, so I was hoping that’s how it was supposed to be kept. When we got our cooked pizzas, however, you could tell the water just ruined everything that the cheese had to offer the pizza. It held absolutely nothing together and every one of our toppings fell off of our pizza slices immediately after picking them up. It was like having to remake the pizza ourselves every time we picked one slice up. The mozzarella that did remain on the slices or that we placed back on them had zero flavor at all. I may as well have ordered vegan cheese. The only flavor on my pizza was the marinara sauce and the toppings. The cheese added nothing to the pizza, probably because of the water it was swimming in behind the counter when we ordered. It cost over $20 for two thin crust pizzas with practically no cheese. It’s worth the drive to Mod Pizza. It costs less for bigger pizzas with nothing falling off.

Like I started this review off with, they have some star employees who value customer service. I know a lot of people go to places just for that, so I did not want to fail by not mentioning that. However, I go for food and this was just not it. We won’t be back.

I love the crust and the cheese, they are delicious. I wish the marinara sauce had a little bit more kick to it. The staff is wonderful, they're friendly and check on you often. I really enjoy going there and getting a Pizza.

good place for students to eat, ive eaten at many your pi locations and this is honestly my least favorite. I ordered a pizza with tomato and pesto sauce but he mixed the sauces together and it honestly tasted like vomit. I had to ask for more cheese and more sauce (I shouldn’t of ????). The boy was nice and it was too late because he had already put the sauces on the pizza but it was a little nauseating. I just feel like there could be a little bit better training done, how to drizzle pesto, how to spread sauces, how much cheese etc. other than that I can’t complain, just gotta work on the pizza making skills! :)

A great place for some awesome pizza. Customize it however you like. Staff was very helpful and full of personality. Meredith was exceptional. Not at all like the "robots" you get at other places. We visited on a Monday while we were in town on vacation. We decided to eat here because the other places we were hoping to try ended up being closed on a Monday... so glad we made this choice. Pizza was hot and delicious. We also tried the gelato, and it was the perfect way to round out the meal. Way to go!

Great pizza. Fresh ingredients. Friendly customer service. Second time here. Owner/operator is very detail oriented and courteous. Pesto sauce is the BOMB! BBQ sauce could use a little more zing. Overall 5 stars!!
