Don't let the small size udder the building fill you, the good will surprise you.
Tender, smoky, moist pulled pork. Small sandwich had LOTS of meat. Philly steak sandwich was steak, lots of it, very good. Homemade real potato fries, lots of them.
Lemme just say that I went my first time two months ago and I still think that it was delicious. I want more right now in fact
Charming, un-fussy atmosphere frequented by everyone from coiffured grandmas to truckers. Tasty and very reasonably priced food. I had the chicken fingers Friday and they were the freshest fingers ever-juicy AND crispy. Fun murals and menu too. Sit on a picnic table and enjoy the wood smoke aromas.
The Philly cheese steak is addictive!!! Watch out!
Barbecue is moist, but I really didn't like the tomato-based "sauce". It was the thickness of tomato paste, tasted like tomato paste, and desperately needed salt. The onion rings and fries were way, way too oily. You better eat any of the fried things quickly, they do not do well when reheated in the microwave. The chicken sandwich was COLOSSAL and tasty. I would give 1-2 stars for the fried sides but they really do meat right here and the barbecue itself and the Phillies are too awesome!
