A hard working and friendly staff serving awesome food! Everything that we have tried there has been amazing. A great fish and chips, the lamb burger rocks, and Lemon Posset dessert is the bomb!!

Such a great experience! From the atmosphere of a cozy British tavern to the friendly staff to the wonderful food, this was a great choice for my husband and me. The scotch egg appetizer was delicious and the lamb burger was out-of-this world. Will definitely come again when we are traveling this way.

The atmosphere is amazing, staff extremely friendly, drinks and food are perfect. Had the lamb burger with their house made chips (potato wedges) with parmesan…absolutely amazing!

We were a little hesitant to try this place since we didn’t have a good experience at Mad Taco and they have the same owners. However, I’m so glad we gave it a chance. The hostess and waitress were very friendly. The ambiance is great and cozy. I was torn on what to get but our wonderful waitress Claire recommended the chicken pot pie. I got that and my husband got the lamb burger. Both were excellent! Flavors were good and balanced. Nothing tasted like they added flavor enhancers to disguise cheap ingredients. We finished up with the toffee pudding which was also really
delicious. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back and try the fish and chips and apple tart. Based on this experience, we will have to give Mad Taco another try.

I had the short rib special that was delicious! So tender and a nice selection of wines to enjoy with it. Looking forward to going back the next time I’m in Madison.
