Chef Lee's Peking Restaurant

My parents have always loved it here when they come to town but I was always lukewarm. You get very generous servings and the staff is very efficient. Another longtime Columbus tradition. The selections are more freshly made and are good and steamy. My favorite Kung Pao Shrimp appears to have improved but not enough peanuts.

During the evacuation we wanted to try some of the local Chinese food. Chef Lee's was really good. The service was impeccable and the staff was friendly. The veggie soup I had was salty and the Singapore noodles were a bit dry (they weren't completely coated in sauce). Other than that everything was great.

This is by far my most favorite Chinese food in Columbus. When we visit family from Alabama we take a road trip just to experience the one of kind experience. It was great food, great service and wonderful portion sizes. They were always so nice and friendly to my family. I do recommend to eat here at least once, because you will go again after that. To save money (I am a penny pincher) I would always have water, but even their water was some of the most refreshing water I have had. Also, egg drop soup at Chef Lee's will affect any other version of this soup. I have still not found an egg drop soup like theirs! It is a wonderful restaurant for your whole family and yet it is also a wonderful place for a nice intimate setting on your date nights.
