    The best fried chicken in the world on Chicken Tuesday and Chicken Thursday. Pork Chop Wednesday is also wonderful, try the grilled pork chop , otherwise it comes fried.     This no frills cafe has consistently good food. It's a country/small town style down home cafe with a simple menu, very casual service and standard yummy food. They have repeat customer that have been dining for decades. They do not accept credit cards so bring your cash, and if you wanna eat lunch, arrive early or expect to stand in line. Very good lunch choices. Very accommodating. Great sweet tea and cornbread. Always fresh food with a green taste. Lots of choices each day.

    Great place to eat! Good food, good prices, and great location. You just can't beat Evelyn's! Been eating there for almost 50 years! ????
