Hudson's At Main Street

We stopped into another place that advertises they are open for lunch, where in reality, not true. So, we decided to try Hudson's. It seemed nice, but really short-staffed and took quite a bit of time to get our food. That's understandable sometimes. It happens. Food was really good once we got it, but our server, Emily, made it happen with a smile and apology for the slowness. It wasn't her fault, but she took responsibility for it and made it right. I paid full price for everything. No discount expected at all, nor given. It wasn't needed. She did a great job, and is the reason I'm writing this review. Please get that poor girl more help and another cook. It wasn't terribly busy, actually very slow, so I think they were short staffed in the kitchen. We will be back again. Their fries are incredible. I ordered extra food to go for dinner this evening and made sure she got her >50% tip.

This place is one of those hidden gems you wish you found sooner. The atmosphere is my style and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. This place is clean and the booths are comfortable. The food is fresh, hot and delicious! I will be definitely coming back to this spot.

Above average for a bar and grill type joint. More of a homemade quality taste instead of the usual cheapest-ingredient and bland taste of most bad and grill places. Good variety of choices. About 10 craft beers on draft. Several cocktail options. Adequate appetizer and dessert options. Bonus points for not being a chain as there aren't enough locally-owned places in Columbus.

Man did I order wrong! I'll explain. Went for first time with friends. My wife and another ordered the burgers, and two of us got the hot wings special. Wings were good but nothing that makes me crave them again. HOWEVER the burgers looked outstanding and wife said they were fantastic! Hand formed and massive! Perfectly cooked! I know what I'm ordering next time! The only thing is the location is a bit hidden-- located on the lower level of the plaza, kind of tucked away in a corner, but once you're on their side of the plaza, easy to see. Well worth hunting out this place for a killer burger!!!

Amazing burger better than black cow to me. The farm house was amazing and Juicy. Goat chees was a good contrast to the burger's earthy and meaty flavor. This was beef that tasted like beef and not just salt.
