Metro Diner

Nice joint!! Great service, and a menu with a good selection. A Lil pricey, but most dishes a step above regular diner food, and portions are generous. Chicken and waffles most def recommend, they have a spicy syrup, if you so choose that adds an immaculate flavor to this savory dish. Hands down my face and delish!!

The wait is a little long after 9am. The food is pretty good. Their main dish isn't as good as some of their other dishes however.
All entrees served all day is the best part.

We were finally on this side of town and able to check the Metro Diner out for the first time. It was a Monday around noon and this restaurant did not disappoint! It was clean and all of the staff we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. Great service. Now to the best part... the food. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The prices appear to be high when you're reading the menu, but when you see the portion size they give you, the prices are completely reasonable. My Philly Cheesesteak was the best I've had in Columbus, GA and certainly the biggest. My mom's club sandwich was delicious and I know because I tried it since she could only eat 1/4 of it herself (never seen such a big club sandwich). We both had fries and they were good, too. I was looking around at other people's plates and they were all full as can be, just like ours were. I have nothing negative to say about this establishment and would recommend to anyone. (did not go into bathrooms so I cant say if they were clean or not)

The food was fresh, full of flavor and completely on par. The portions are plentiful. Service was outstanding. Every staff member we came in contact with was so friendly and professional.
