I have to say since my last visit, it has gotten better. I used to visit here 2 times a week. It was the weekend spot when my fiance was off. Until one visit, something weird was in my food and it wasn't hot. Then the following visit we both fell ill, our gastro and digestive system was beyond foul and controllable. Since then this visit and my last, the food was really, really good. My grand-daughter was brought as an after party daughter dinner. She is 3 now and loves lomien noodles. It was hot, seemed fresh, and back to how it used to be. The sweet tea is even good and back to it's usual sweet fresh taste. I am glad they are back to their usual authentic taste and freshness!
Quick service. You get what you pay for, and $1.25 for a buffet platter of food, is a pretty good deal. Plus the staff are pretty friendly.
Lately the lo mein has been gooey. Guess they're heating leftovers. Honey chicken is great when it's fresh. Expect to spend over $20 and only get 4 duck sauce. They also went up to $1.25 per scoop which is kind of pushing it for the quality.
No frills, but a great value! My daughter and I had a very filling, tasty lunch with sodas (and leftovers!) for less than $10 total.
Prices going up kind of defeat the purpose of a quick good meal. It also depends who fixes your plate the size of the scoop. LOL but seriously. Food is normally good. I notice the grade of the restaurant changes too! ????
