El Chaparro Tex-Mex Cantina

The food and service was excellent. I'm not easily impressed but this restaurant was top notch, and I will definitely be going back again. If have a taste for Mexican cuisine, do yourself a favor and try this place... you will absolutely enjoy.

That has to be one of the best Mexican food meals that I have had in Georgia. I ordered a carnitas taco plate with rice and beans. The meat was seasoned to perfection, and was fatty at all. There was 3 large tacos and plenty of rice and beans. I gave my husband a taco and he agreed that the taco was great.
I am sorry I didn't take a picture, but I wasn't expecting that food to be so delicious. I will be returning and I will edit my post to include a picture.

The food is great! The house specials and the standard Mexican-American fare. Plenty of tables to go around even during the dinner rush on Taco Tuesday ($1 chicken or beef tacos). The bar is pretty standard with the usual Mexican beers and average margaritas that are $3 on Thursdays I think. Staff is friendly and service is prompt. Recommended

Great food and great service! We were driving from Myrtle Beach to Arkansas and needed a break. Little one wanted Mexican food and this place showed up on the map as being near the Interstate and had good ratings.

Our server, Ana, was friendly and attentive. She checked in often even though she clearly had several tables. In fact, she was staying past her shift due to the crowd. It was 2:00 and they were doing a lot of business, I can't imagine what the lunch and dinner rush must look like.

Despite the crowd, our food came out quickly and was delicious. I had the beef fajitas, little one had a beef burrito, and partner had crunchy beef tacos. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was agreed we couldn't have chosen a better place to stop on our way home.

Great place for a birthday party, service was quick. The pretty waitress was on time with everything.She was very busy. But made the time, an took the effort, to be so nice an friendly. An so cute ❤️ I felt special at our families multi birthday party. The waiters came with the big hats singing Happy birthday, an taking pictures. It was a wonderful experience. 4 stars but only because of my loyalty to my favorite Mexican restaurant. In Monroe I won't name here. This place is very good also ????
