I got a burger and onion rings. It was a pretty standard burger, not the best in the world, but good. The onion rings were fantastic, though. Will be going back again to try more.”

“This new Jamaican joint was great! The staff was welcoming and the young woman at the counter was very friendly and professional. I had a large Jerk Chicken plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. I got my plate spicy and added oxtail gravy to the rice. I paid $11 for my plate and couldn't eat it all. A smaller option was available for less. The chicken was sweet and spicy, the cabbage was probably the best I've had at a Caribbean place, and the rice and peas were great with the gravy! I'm glad I didn't let the whole in the wall appearance keep me from giving them a try! I will be back, and next time I'll try to make it earlier, because I want to give their beef and chicken patties a try!”

“Tried the New Southern TLC Chicken sandwich. Usually a big fan of the grilled chicken sandwich, so trying something new was no small affair. But I liked it. Really liked the bun, whatever it's called. The breading on the chicken was good too. It would be hard to give up the grilled sandwich meal, or even a house salad, but if this stays around, I will definitely order it again.”

“We've been coming to this location for years and service is typically great. However, every time I have gone through the drive through I have had to go back in to get salad dressing because it's never in the bag...It never fails, haha. I know it seems silly but today I watched the guy check the bag and still didn't put dressing in it. I went inside and the girl working the register gave me one packet... I didn't even object to it since normally you get two with the salad. At least they didn't try to charge extra for the missing dressing like they did before. I always try to be respectful to them and maybe this was an off day but everyone seemed to have very little urgency or care today..”

“After reading reviews I decided to stop by before a meeting this morning and was not disappointed. The staff are super friendly, informative and prompt. I let them know I had never been before so I would need a little help deciding on what to eat (I almost always get the same drink). I ordered an iced latte with coconut milk and the brown sugar and cinnamon flavor, with a spinach puff pastry. I could have ordered 5 of those pastries!! The young lady behind the counter told me they have microwaves to warm them if need be, but the pastries were made fresh that morning. I used to work at Starbucks years ago and am rather picky on my espresso shots, but there is no need here. They were perfect! Not weak, but not burnt tasting. And the brown surface and cinnamon flavor? Amazing!! I am kind of sad I don’t live closer nor pass through very often as this could easily become a regular spot of mine. The atmosphere is so inviting and unique I could’ve stayed for hours. It’s open, yet intimate and has plenty of seating areas and arrangements for any audience. Such a charming place!!!
