I had never heard of this place until I visited Augusta Ga for a graduation.
It was love at first bite 😍
I ordered the quarter chicken white with
Collards and coleslaw. Very pleased at promptness and cleanliness. The food was very good. Service was very good.
Interesting place, with counter ordering and they bring out your food. Disappointed that my pulled pork was not hot nor had enough sauce (though they brought more when asked) but otherwise well made and tasty, the mac and cheese was excellent, and the fries were good. Servers helpful when asked but were quite busy.
Tried 3-4-24 for the 1st time and after reading some reviews we were weary but EVERYTHING was AMAZING down to the AMAZING service in the drive thru! My husband and I both work in the service industry & it's rare nowadays to have such good service and food at the same time! Even if the food wasn't great, which it was we'd go back just for the hospitality! Only complaint I have would be that I don't care for mayo( Alabama Sauce)and I wasn't aware that it was on my corn🫤 which is partly my fault for not asking them to leave it off🤦🏾♀️Will definitely be back!!!!
Service was fast even though they were busy. It’s not full service but it wasn’t a big deal for us. The bbq Mac and cheese was good, but rich, needs to come with its own sauce.
Jalapeño cheese biscuits were very good!
My ribs just weren’t good. They were so tough and chewy that I didn’t eat more than one and a half of them. I didn’t send them back or complain as we had places to go.
Not sure if I’d go back or recommend.
Well it's the Holliday Season so we were out and about shopping. It seemed like a good time to try Jim and Nick's BBQ. I intentionally waited for a little while because this is a larger establishment and sometimes it takes a hot second to get the staff up to speed. Overall, we tried a couple of pork sandwiches, baked beans, corn, and fries. Fries. Everyone was pretty pleased with their meals with one exception that the staff took care of promptly. They had non-fountain-based lemonade which was nice in addition to soft drinks. Sweet and unsweet teas. Personally, I liked their house barbecue sauce. It was flavorful but also a touch suite. And the barbecue corn was really interesting! The atmosphere was nice and the outside seating area was very well heated which was super nice! Overall, if you're a barbecue lover, you will likely be very happy with Jim and Nick's barbecue. I also liked that they were flying an American Flag out front and that they offer a Military Discount - well done!
