Southern Prospect

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was DELICIOUS!!!! Our server, Charlie, was prompt and attentive without being too much, and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. The fried deviled eggs are literally the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. We also had the street corn fries and they were SO good. The sweet pot a tots, just delicious. The dirty south burger, I'm told, is indulgent and excellent. (My husband brought my kids here on opening night and they agree that the dirty south burger is outstanding, and they also really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes). And for dessert, oh the bread pudding. Just heavenly. The restaurant is gorgeously decorated with tremendous attention to detail. Beautiful bathroom, and the paintings hanging from the ceiling was such a clever design element that I've never seen anywhere before. It has an upbeat yet cozy atmosphere. Seriously, go eat here. You'll love it!!

We sat at the bar as there was a long wait. The bartender had a great personality and kept us entertained as we ate. We had the Crispy Deviled Eggs and while my wife wasn't a fan, I loved them. I also really enjoyed the Pecan Crusted Salmon and my wife loved her Bulleit Bacon Chicken.

This restaurant is AMAZING! Not only the food and the service - THE ESTHETICS and environment is GORGEOUS, every little detail is so beyond beautiful and elegant. We held a private event last night upstairs (yes, you can rent the upstairs area for private events!!!). Everything was phenomenal from the service to the food - they had everything timed perfectly and made it so easy for you to have a low stress event! Our servers, Jack and Gately, were the BEST servers and so sweet and made sure to make everything perfect! They made the night even better due to their sweet and fun personalities and extreme attentiveness. I worked in the restaurant industry for many years and know how the service can really affect the experience so I am so thankful to have had such a great team to take care of our large group! I can’t thank them enough!!! And the manager, Katlyn, made sure to check in on our party several times from beginning to end to make sure everything was perfect! Thank you, Southern Prospect, for going above and beyond and making our event perfection!

Southern Prospect was an excellent choice for the celebration of my husband’s birthday. Our family and friends were mesmerized by the atmosphere, the deco, the food and service. Really good price for everything they served and the quality of the menu. The restaurant is pet friendly and kids can play around the common areas. We loved the experience.

My visit on Mother's Day was exceptional, especially as the staff, including our wonderful waitress Emily, provided outstanding service even after closing time. The restaurant's ambiance, with its spacious interior and scenic patio, perfectly complements its inventive and tasty cuisine.
