Best restraunt in town. It takes a lot to fill me up, but their chicken fingers always do. I have them tossed in buffalo sauce and they are fantastic. Their wings are a good size and always cooked just right. Their burgers are also really great, and shrimp plates are awesome as well. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is their seating is somewhat limited. But hey what can you do.
It's always good, whether it's take out or eat in. The food is prepared mainly by the chef/owner who loves her customers and cooking...and it shows in the food. You can't fake that. Nothing fancy, just hearty, soul- filling fair.
Nice atmosphere, nice presentation on the food. The 1st bite of my burger was good and my sweet potato waffle fries were good. However my medium burger was raw in the middle. So disappointing.
Nothing was great except the service.
Love Traveling Hobo!
Have taken out-of-state relatives to the Traveling Hobo Cafe to get a good southern meal. Never have had a bad meal or experience. Only drawback is that I live almost 10 miles away which limits the amount of visits! I have had a variety of items off the menu and have never been disappointed especially with the fried pickles. I'm picky when fried pickles are soggy and am never disappointed. I'm going for lunch now.
The staff is always great and the food is top-notch. I have gone 3 times, gotten a different burger each time and have not been disappointed. The Bo' Chaser and the Traveling Elvis Burger are both really good.
