Gold mine tacos

So happy to have another food choice so close to home. Everything was great. The place itself was kinda small but they did a great job with what they had to work with, besides we were getting our food to go.
You get a lot for the price they charge which is rare to see these days.
To order it doesn't get any easier. Look at the picture, each one has a number. Tell them what number you want. What you see in the picture is what you get. They don't switch out what meat it is, but that wasn't a concern for me. If you want extra sour cream they charge, but like I said their prices are cheap for the amount you get, so who cares about that.

The Birria tacos are almost spot on, just needs a lil bit more cinnamon in the consome. Agua Pina is delicious. The refried beans taste like they were made in house. The rice is ok.

So thankful for a restaurant in the little town I live in. Food is amazing. Friendly service. Nice portion sizes. Definitely will be a weekly stop from now on.

Was so excited when I saw this place was opening. Have eaten here a couple times since they opened. Staff was super friendly. The tacos were delicious. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the queso doesn't come with chips they had to be purchased separately, and I wasn't a fan of the salsa. When I opened the thing of salsa it looked like tomato sauce and tasted like tomato sauce with a little bit of spice. I was missing the onion and cilantro that you typically see in salsa. Great value for the price, will definitely continue supporting this small business. Also if they had Mexican cokes to go with the food that would be great, but that's just my opinion.

We live in the area and there is not much out here so we were so excited when we saw they were opening a restaurant on Goldmine. Well I’m so happy to say we were not disappointed! The food was AMAZING, the service was great, and the prices were very affordable! Will definitely be coming back!
