The Carriage House

I was in the area for safety training, drove down the main road, saw the restaurant was open for dine in I had the chicken fajita special, it was good, left full and satisfied, the sweet tea was perfectly sweetened( not syrup) the waitress was very nice and quickly took our order, and we had our lunch in reasonable time

A nice little cafe with outdoor seatings. I had the 3 cheeses omelette. Yummm and my husband had the homemade quiche. You can tell that fresh ingredients are used when taking your first bite. Decor inside and outside deck out for autumn that gives it a welcoming homely feel. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went to Jasper for our anniversary because we enjoy mountainous areas and this was not too far from home. We went in the carriage house both days for breakfast and charity the owner and all of her staff are so amazing and the food was delicious! So we went back the next Saturday just to have breakfast. This was my first time having eggs benedict and it was worth the second trip and an hour drive just to have breakfast but even more to see all of the precious people that work at Carriage House and the regular customers that we met on the previous weekend.

The Carriage House restaurant in historic downtown Jasper, Georgia is a wonderful place to have not only a great meal at a reasonable price, but where the friendly small-town atmosphere is reflected in the owners and the people who work there.

Carriage House is normally a breakfast and lunch place with well-executed, creative and delicious food. I have met the chef and the owner and they both truly care about giving patrons a quality experience. This is not just any coffee shop, but a restaurant in the best sense.

Recently my wife and I took part in the special Valentine's Day dinner in 2020. We made reservations weeks in advance anticipating what Carriage House would do for dinner and we were overwhelmed. We walked in and the space had been transformed into a big-city restaurant with black-and-white cloth tabletop linens, cloth napkins, and candlelight. Extra staff were on hand to serve us. The steak with it's custom sauce, mashed potatoes from scratch and Brussels Sprouts with roasted red peppers were fantastic. It was the best dinner that we have had in a long while and we only had to drive twenty minutes from our house, not 30-60 minutes south to the big city.

And this is what make the food and the experience at The Carriage House in Jasper, Georgia worth trying - the traditional Appalachian mountain town culture of hospitality and caring. And delicious food. We'll be back soon ya'll.

Really great food. Always treat to eat there. Service is excellent. But will have to tell you, the place stays busy, so go hungry and take time to enjoy the friendly staff. This is one place that I'd like to keep to myself, but know it's best to share. Enjoy!
