The Steak House

Thank you to everyone at the Steakhouse! Our son's rehearsal dinner was excellent. Your service and food is outstanding.

Food was great! My steak wasn't cooked as I asked but they made it right right away. Fried pickles and fried green tomatoes were AWESOME!! Staff were BEYOND friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We can't wait to go back!

A beautiful drive and beautiful setting. I'd love to give it 5 stars based on all the rave reviews from friends, but I can't. Our group was a mixed bag on this one. Not sure if the air was broken, but the heat was almost unbearable. The restaurant was so hot our sweet waitress was even sweating. Not really the first impression you want nor so close to your food. Two members of our party were starting to feel ill from the heat. We had to shift seats around the table so they could feel a little breeze from the ceiling fans. Our food arrived and mixed reviews. I had the rib eye which was a solid 7, and my baked potato was delicious. The salad dressing was thin and runny. Guest #2 chopped steak with mushrooms and onions- dry. Guest #3 & 4 Caribbean chicken salad. I liked it a lot, the other didn't care for the marinade on the chicken. Service was excellent!! I plan to try it again, maybe the Thursday night shrimp. I think it's worth trying for yourself and make your own opinion.

Today we ate here. It was our 3rd time ever. Something happened that was out of the staff's control. But they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and enjoyed our meal. They went out of their way and even took care of our bill after the stellar service. The food was also more than excellent not that they wouldn't make it correct if you just asked, for some of the negative reviews here. They are more than willing to make your visit great to the best of their ability. Will definitely be back! Food and service is top notch!!!

I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner here. I was a bit apprehensive because I was planning the dinner from another city, and had never been to the restaurant prior to the dinner. I planned it at The Steak House solely based on the recommendation from the wedding venue, and quite honestly, I wasn't sure if the food would be good, and had no idea if I would be satisfied with the service. Once I spoke with Henrietta, I felt better as she left me feeling reassured. She walked me thru the process, which was a breeze. Whenever I called with questions, she was always available and was extremely helpful. She was the epitome of southern hospitality.

On the evening of the rehearsal, I arrived a little early to get things set up. The staff was AWESOME!! We had a party of 30, and 2 of the most attentive servers. They were super friendly and remained visible throughout the evening. The food was served quickly and everyone raved about how DELICIOUS their food had been. The hot rolls were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! The Steak House turned out to be a good decision.

It's tucked away in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere. My GPS even went offline when I was about a mile away. I would consider this place a hidden gem.
