Beamie's At the River

Great service. Amber did a fantastic job. Beautiful smile! Food was great too! I had the Cajun Gumbo. Perfect.

The food here is actually pretty good. We had crab legs, flounder, catfish, and shrimp. The only reason for this rating is the portions/price. 1 lb (2 clusters) of crab legs were $25. The catfish basket consisted 4 shrimp and 2 filets that were more like fish sticks for a child's plate. Again, it was good, but you're essentially paying for the location. Neat spot downtown. I just think there are so many other places for seafood that are more appropriately priced and portioned. The service was good and personnel were friendly, though.

Our server was very polite and attentive. Good was great, but the hush puppies were a little dense for my liking. Lovely decor. Look forward to visiting again.

service that tops all ! our drinks were never empty, the food came hot and quickly. the tastes and quantities were filling and fine . very casual and simple. parking was ample and close by, too. from the outside, did not expect this level of award winning service. and certainly did not expect the menu to have seafood, beef, and lots of sides. and the prices were very fair

Such a great location with superb service and excellent seafood. The staff were friendly and fun and very helpful. Will definitely make sure to visit here again when back in town.
