Captain D's

Food is good. Parking lot needs repairing. Building could use a fresh coat of paint, landscaping needs work. Probably would attract more customers.

This establishment is first class in every sense of the word. The evening manager treats you like royalty and makes sure you're happy with your food and everything else. She is a very valuable part of the Captain D's team of professionals. There are other Captain D's restaurants closer to me, but they can't hold a light compared to this location. I don't mind driving the extra mile to be happy with my dining experience. Every other Captain D's in Augusta has HATEFUL, rude, and slow service so this location is the ONLY place where I go to enjoy fresh seafood. The Gordon Highway location told me and my guests that the all you can eat Sunday special ended at 7:00 PM, which was a bold faced LIE, and that's how I discovered the Washington Road location, where the manager actually waits on her customers and keeps an immaculate restaurant which means everything. You'll see the tremendous difference at this location when you give them just one try. Trust me, it is well worth driving the extra distance to receive first class service and fresh seafood where they actually THANK YOU for your business and make sure you are 100% pleased with your meal. Again, the evening manager makes her restaurant first class and she's not afraid to interact with her customers.

Great service and best of all, I can still get the same thing I did 40 years ago. The restaurant looked very clean but the floor was a little oily. Maybe they mopped the dining room with the same mop they used in the kitchen. It was a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon until this guy decided that everyone in the place need to hear what was playing on his cellphone. That's not the restaurants fault tho.
