Metro Diner

My first time in Georgia. Came here wanting to try chicken and waffles. It was ready in under 5 minutes—the service was excellent. Ended up giving him a 9$ tip. Best chicken and waffles ever. Fried chicken was not saturated in grease or overbearing. Waffle was nice and crispy. And the chipotle syrup was so perfect with the meal. I will recommend this place to everyone.

The first metro diner I have eaten at was in Jacksonville, Fla., which was 5 or 6 years ago. I thought the meal was tasty and offered many menu choices.
Recently, two have opened in my area. I have eaten lunch at both. The fish and chips had a generous serving of a white fish and the usual fries and cold slaw. Today, I had the stuffed tomato and chose the chicken salad and avocado stuffing, which was more exciting than the fish!

First time here and highly impressed. Avocado toast is AWESOME! Fresh avocado and tomato on hearty full grain toast. They had to make fresh avocado spread and it took longer than expected and manager comped my breakfast. Absolutely didn't have to do that as I wasn't in a hurry and it really didn't take that long. Greatly appreciate the thought. Mark was my waiter and was very apologetic. I respect that but, again, not necessary. I'll be back for sure.

Very good food and service! I have had their chicken and waffles, best in Augusta by far. Today was the bold burger and it is BIG! Homemade fries too. Can't beat it! Yum yum! I forgot to take a picture was enjoying the food. Our waitress Melanie was very nice and took care of us.

Excellent breakfast. Good service, very friendly & courteous wait staff. Food was served fast and hot, and by the way, was very tasty. Will definitely be coming here again for breakfast (& maybe even lunch!). I highly recommend this establishment!
