Riverside Smoke Bar-B-Que

I've been here several times now and what I love most is consistency. I love the ribs and brisket and they are both flavorful, tender and consistent. Wonderful and pleasant staff makes this a great new restaurant for the downtown area. Kudos!

The customer service was excellent! Very friendly & positive attitudes. The atmosphere was nice. I ordered the 3-meat plate (double chopped pork). I wanted the ribs for the 3rd meat but it wasn't ready. I really like the mac & cheese. It had flavor & a little kick like it had pepper jack cheese in it & that sets it apart from other mac & cheeses around the area. Even though the meat was very tender, the brisket lacked flavor without the sauce for me. The chopped pork was good with & without the sauce. Overall, I will return!

Love those ribs, beans, green,mac and cheese.....just everything. The location is in a good spot. Ample parking. I have always received excellent service from the staff.

Saw this place pop up downtown and decided to give it a shot. Got the 3 meat plate with pulled pork, ribs and brisket. The ribs were delicious. The brisket was tender but not much flavor. The pulled pork was also good. You have a choice between 3 different sauces that I saw. One mustard based, one vinegar based and another that was just watery, not sure what I was. Overall a decent experience and I'd return.

Fantastic ribs, actually smoked, super tender. I'm very critical of bbq, most places have something even baked and hard. The ribs fell off the bone and didn't need any sauce. Family owned and operated. It felt like I was living an episode of cheers. If you want some good food and a pleasant atmosphere give this place a try. Also, 1792 bourbon available. Great bourbon to go with ribs.
