I'm pretty picky about my lattes. Didn't meet my high expectations just due to no foamy or velvety texture to the milk. However. The barista was awesome and the flavor was on point. Still 5 stars for the experience (and I know I'm picky). Next time I'll see if they can make some foam.
When I want food like I can make but better, I come here. Also, I had their beef and barley soup once and I am determined to come back when they aren't sold out of it so I can have it again! Employees are friendly and laid-back, atmosphere is quirky and relaxing.
I loved the fact that my friend and I visited for three hours and no one hurried us out the door. It was so much fun!
From the coffee and food to the friendly people -- it's all good. This is my second visit, and I'm smitten with That Place. The vibe is inclusive, laid back, busy but not loud, comfortable and all around a nice place to work or relax.
Not busy when I went in but they appear to have ample seating, the iced coffee is really good, and they have almond milk as well as soy milk! Being lactose intolerant I usually get stuck with soy, but the fact that they have almond milk is enough to get 5 stars out of me.
Cozy atmosphere, nice art on the walls (that's for sale), and they clearly support local artists by displaying and selling art and handmade creations. Definitely coming back.
