Timbuktu Cafe

This place is one of the best restaurants in Augusta. I've traveled all over the US and this is the first time I've had West African food and I am obsessed! The flavors, the spices, are amazing. People have complained about the wait time, but this food is made with love. The owners are friendly and caring. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food! 10/10. If you're going to do takeout call an hour ahead. That'll save you so much more time.

See people on here complaining about service time, if you want fast food go to McDonalds and get you a 4 piece chicken nugget kids meal hop back in your booster seat and go home.

The food was off the chain, absolutely packed with flavor yet perfectly balanced. The people who work there were really cool and interacted with the customers, very friendly.

The food was excellent! The dishes have great flavors and the portions are very generous. We saw the "coming soon" sign and were excited to try it when it opened. It is tucked into a strip shopping center on Walton Way. The restaurant has a 100 score on their inspection so it is clean with a nice decor. The staff is extremely friendly. It did take about 20 minute to get our food since it is prepared to order. A little patience will pay off with a really great meal. They offer chicken, beef, lamb and fish dishes with unique flavors. Definitely worth a try. We will be heading back soon.
