Reasonable low cost. Variety of sides. Food not great but it's good

I went in because someone told me that they serve fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were tasty, but cut very thin. The restaurant serves a variety of foods from homecooking to seafood dishes, fried fish, burgers, Chinese entrees. Pretty much a little bit of everything. The restaurant was a tad bit too warm for me to dine inside.
I would go back and reccomend.

The line was kind of long, but they had a large selection on their menu. The food was hot & delicious. The staff, though they were clearly busy, were very nice & patient enough to answer my questions. I was able to get the lunch special which includes 1 meat, 2 sides & corn bread or a biscuit. The portion size is quite large & more than enough for me. I was even able to get banana pudding, but they also had peach cobbler! I recommend trying out their lunch bar, but you can also get wings, phillys, & fried rice. They serve salads as well. You can dine in or order to go. They have some domestic & imported beers.

I like their food and love their prices. I tried the yellow squash casserole this time and it was delicious, just like my Mom used to make. Their fried chicken is awesome and so is their meatloaf. So far I haven't had anything I don't like except their cornbread.

Had the wings of course plus the garlic shrimp. The meal was delicious. The wings are a size between small/medium which is my favorite. The shrimp are jumbo size and not overly seasoned. It was just right. The price of everything was under 20 bucks so it's a win/win. Oh yeah they have a buffet style kind of meal too if you choose not to order the wings or seafood. So you can get fried chicken, meatloaf, etc depending on the meal of the day.
