    A local told me to eat here even though I didn't ask, so I obeyed. Really great food and I was greeted by Shirley herself at the register. Reminded me of the small town gems that can be found in my home state of Texas.

    Delicious soul food like my mama could NOT make! As you might expect in the south, the fried chicken is on point - but the dish that really knocked my socks off was the cabbage casserole.
    So. Much. Yum.
    Also, Shirley's does so much for the community that you'd want to support the restaurant even if the food weren't good - but it's fantastic!
    I will definitely be going back. ????

    It's always delicious with a friendly staff.
    We stop at Shirley's after fishing whenever we're in Toccoa. They had all the usual delicious soul food options, but I was excited to get rutabagas and salmon patties with potatoes yesterday. It really hit the spot! I enjoy the gospel music too.

    Love this place! We’ve ordered catering from Shirley’s for years and I love stopping by to get a plate when I’m in town. The butternut squash is to die for! You can get whatever you want from behind the counter as long as it fits on one plate with a drink for about $10, not too bad ????
