South Eden Plantation

Stayed for two nights to attend a wedding. What a lovely venue. Guests stay in houses around the property. Streets lined with lighted live oak trees. Many historic elements. No office, check-in or check out spot. All communications start with a phone call. That was a little different. A few small problems with the room but all minor. Mini fridge in room but no ice.

This place is amazing. Great rooms, grounds and staff. We were only there for one night for a wedding but would definitely go back just for a stay. Highly recommend.

We had several family members stay at South Eden during our wedding weekend and we stayed there on our wedding night – we absolutely enjoyed the accommodations! The rooms were beautiful and the team there was willing to work with us on check-in/check-out times. The pool house was beautiful as well. We will certainly be back for anniversaries in the future!

My wife and I just got married at South Eden. I can't say enough good things about this venue. The grounds and buildings are all beautiful, all our guests raved about how picturesque it was. With the twinkle lights everything is as equally magical at night as it was during the day. It is impossible to not take beautiful pictures here. South Eden also made the process of planning and executing our wedding a breeze. We met with staff one time to select the furniture, layout, food, drinks and several other small details. It was so much easier that coordinating different vendors for all of those things. They gave us a quote that was accurate, itemized and easily changed. The prices at South Eden were a great value and they made our dream wedding at reasonable budget. The venue set up and took down everything we needed for both the ceremony and reception. Our meals and drinks were tasty and wait staff were attentive and polite. My wife LOVED the bridal suite, she felt like a princess all day (and that was the penultimate goal of the day). South Eden was perfect!
