It was a wonderful Family experience. There are multiple activities to do while at the Lodge itself. You can rock climb, miniature golf, and an arcade to name a few. You also have the wave pool and the kiddie pool plus a few water slides as well. It's family friendly. They have a build a bear there on top of an exchange store with all types of goodies and souvenirs. The food is okay and a little on the pricey side. The same goes for the rooms, on the pricey side so expect to circulate a pretty penny. Overall it is a great experience and I recommend bringing your kids here!
Overall I give this place 5 stars because the staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the rooms are cute and comfortable. It has plenty to do and enjoy. Of course prices are a little high but it's to be expected. I loved the meal plan and the extra passes for activities. The app is very helpful to keep up with events going on and menus and your virtual assistant. The virtual assistant is very handy when you have questions and you aren't near a staff member. The extra events included in the stay are awesome and the water park is great, there is something for kids of all ages.
Everything was excellent from check in to check out. The rooms were immaculate, and employees were going out of there way to wipe down high touch areas through out the day. The bar in the water park was excellent. We didn’t eat, so can’t speak for the food but it did look good. It also looked like they did a story time for children, and the staff members doing that were awesome. We checked in at 4, and our room wasn’t quite ready yet, so they upgraded us for free which was extremely considerate as well. We absolutely will be back!
There is no doubt that kids will have a fantastic time here. The lack of even a microwave in the room seems to be a ploy to force patrons to eat at their slightly overpriced restaurants. The water park, and all the other offerings like story time and dance party was awesome. The drain in the room sink was slow to drain so it was kinda good that there was such little water pressure at the sink. All in all this was a place that was super fun for the kids and everyone had a great time. We will most likely go back.
My family and I really enjoyed this water park. It's pretty far out passed Atlanta and close to Alabama. It is very clean, spacious, and many things to do for about 2-3 days. The restaurants are okay, they rush cooking the food so it's not as good. The buffet breakfast is amazing. It's $15 per person but you get as much as you want and can take a fair amount of drinks out for later if you ask. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
