Mare Sol

The food is amazing. I have been three times, and the taste is never disappointing. All of it is as fresh as is practically possible; they don't have a farm in the back room or anything, but they do have their own beef farms in reasonable locations to cut costs and responsibilities of other companies. My only problem is that the last time I went, we had a group of 8, and the service was not as attentive as they could have been. We got our appetizer late, one of the meals took longer than expected, and a couple of times I reached down for my glass, finding it empty and having to wait for a refill for a while. I consider this experience an aberration because of how well everything went the first two times. That being said, do not let this review discourage you from eating here, it is well worth the possibility of waiting!

We went here for a tasting for our upcoming wedding reception. The food is phenomenal, the chef is very personable and the service is great! We're looking forward to our big night in 2 weeks a great reception following!

We had a nice dinner here. The salads were very good, highly recommend. However, the pasta was not as tasty. The sauce tasted a little too canned and could have benefitted from some additional cook time and seasoning possibly. But the shrimp and chips were very good; large shrimp with great flavor. Beer flights were a nice option and a decent wine list too. The kids menu was a bit pricey for what you got but also not bad. Overall pretty good experience.

Nice setup, with good selection of beers and a tasty menu. Plenty of seating to accommodate both large groups and quiet pairs. Casual enough for a light lunch but also nice enough to do date night. Service was great and personable. Just a good overall modern restaurant.
