The food was delicious. My wife and I could not eat the half slab of ribs. It was huge. Perfectly seasoned. The baked beans and slaw were also good.

Oh my God! The absolute best. Old style fried cornbread with your greens and southern beans. Absolutely perfect old school fried chicken. Moist and….cooked, crispy and non greasy crust. Those chocolate chip cookies were home or very small batch made with the perfect combination of chewy-crispy. These people care how their food tastes and are proud of it. As they should be. The place was spotless and the service was exceptional. The owner I believe is a local who knows the region’s cooking and also a veteran. He puts his heart in his cooking…. You will not be disappointed!

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is and the owner makes you feel right at home. The entire staff is beyond friendly and the food is breathtaking! My wife and I loved our first visit here and will be back again!!

We ordered the brisket sandwich and ribs. The brisket was better than most places I've tried and they put on such a generous portion. The flavor was great and not the least bit dry. The ribs smoked so perfect we even got a slab to bring home. We will definitely stop there whenever we are in the area. Oh, and the sweet tea is real Southern sweet tea that you know is homemade.

What an amazing chef!!! The brisket is the best I have ever had by miles!!! Great, friendly staff and Rudy - the kindest soul you ever want to meet. If you don’t eat there, you are missing something special. Thank you Rudy for my most delicious sandwich. I can’t wait to come back.
